1. start the conversation
Approach your friend, family member or loved-one, and start a conversation. Ask them how their day is going, and what they have been up to.
2. Ask them how they are
Mention that they have seemed off recently, and that you're worried about them. Ask them how they are going, but don't be pushy.
3. Remind them they are not alone
Regardless of their response, remind them that they are not alone. This can be done in many ways such as telling them 'I'm here for you' or that 'I'm always here to talk'.
4. Check in
Follow up. When you see them next, ask them how they are feeling and if you can do anything for them.
